IGE Talks: May Day, International Workers' Day
Time: 7:00 pm
Event Description: Once upon a time there was a labor shortage. Workers leveraged themselves into a new middle class. But what if that pressure had been used to ensure human rights in the trading partners of the American corporations expanding into world markets? Globalization would not be the derogatory term it is today. Tactics and morality; non-violence and fighting smart; coffee and donuts… everything is on the table! IGE Talks is a series of public forums videotaped for viewing anytime on the internet and on GR metro cable access TV channel 24 at 7 pm Thurs. and 10 am Sat.
